Shoura Council holds 18th session

The Chairman of Shoura Council Dr. Salih bin Abdullah bin Homaid chaired here today the council's 18th ordinary session.
The Council's Secretary General Dr. Salih bin Abdullah Al-Malik pointed out that the Council approved two annual reports of the Ministry of Petroleum and Mineral Resources for fiscal years 1422/1423 and 1423/1424H.
The Council directed Industrial Development Fund to lend licensed mining projects and deal with them as industrial projects, he noted.
The Ministry's annual report should include new detailed information on the proved and expected reserves of petroleum and gas, Dr. Al-Malik said and added that appropriate mechanisms should be set to invest the revenues of the increase in oil production for the service of the coming generations.
Then the Council discussed annual reports of the General Organization of Civil Retirement for the fiscal year 1423/1424H. and the Ministry of Education for fiscal years 1422/1423 and 1423/1424H.
