The Secretary General of The Arab Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), Abdulrahman Bin Hamad Al-Attiyah, praised on Wednesday the joint communiqué issued on conclusion of the visit of Sultan Qaboos Bin Saeed of Oman to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia during which he met with Crown Prince Abdullah bin Abdulaziz, the Deputy Premier and Commander of the National Guard of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. He said that this historic visit was within the framework of the keenness on enhancing cooperation between the GCC countries. He also welcomed what was announced in the communiqué about the stance of the GCC countries towards the latest developments in Palestine, Iraq and the rest of the world. Al-Attiyah expressed admiration over the contents of the communiqué which focus on means of enhancing the march of the joint cooperation between the GCC countries in economic, social, media and military fields. The GCC is made up of Saudi Arabia, The United Arab Emirates, Kuwait, Qatar, Bahrain and Oman.
