Sultan Qaboos Meets GCC Chief

Sultan Qaboos bin Said of Oman met here Saturday with GCC Secretary General Abdurrahman bin Hamad Al-Attiyah.
Talks during the meeting dealt with the blessed march of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) and means of enhancing it in all areas in order to serve the common interests of peoples of the GCC countries.
Al-Attiyah briefed Sultan Qaboos on the ongoing preparations for the GCC consultative summit, due to be held in Saudi Arabia in May.
For his part, Sultan Qaboos expressed his best wishes for the success of the summit.
