Two civilians were killed Tuesday after their pickup truck struck a land mine in southeastern Turkey believed to have been planted by Kurdish rebels, the Anatolia news agency reported. The explosion occurred near the village of Kemerli, in predominantly Kurdish Sirnak province, the agency said. The truck belonged to a government agency that handles local administration, Anatolia said, but it was not immediately clear if the civilians worked for the agency.
