Swedish fighter jet crashes in sea, pilot alive

A Swedish air force fighter jet crashed in the Baltic Sea off southern Sweden on Wednesday, a military spokeswoman said.
The pilot of the JAS 39 Gripen ejected and was being treated in hospital, she said.
The cause of the crash was not immediately clear, Reuters reported.
