A military fighter plane crashed Tuesday while on a training mission in the central Anatolian province of Konya, a local official said. Its pilot escaped slightly injured after ejecting, Gov. Osman Aydin said. The F-16 fighter jet crashed near the village of Kucukmuhsine, but the cause of the crash was not immediately clear, the Associated Press reported.
