Two suicide attackers detonated car bombs in northern Iraq on Saturday, killing at least five Iraqis and wounding 40, hospital and police officials said. The bombs detonated near an Iraqi military base in Sinjar, about 120 kilometers (75 miles) northwest of Mosul, said a police official speaking on customary condition of anonymity. The bodies of at least five Iraqis killed were brought to Sinjar Hospital, said hospital official Ahmed Ali. The Associated Press quoted Ali as saying that 40 people were wounded.
