Citizens and expatriates were warned by the Civil Defense Authority from sitting at dams and valleys and sewage drainage watercourses. In a press statement issued here today, the Civil Defense Authority underscored the importance of evading swimming in flood and rain waters and erecting tents at bottom of valleys. The authority advised people not to sleep inside such tents to avoid being overwhelmed by floods, not to gaze at flood streams from upper hills to avoid dizziness and unconscious falling into floods and drowning, not to cross flood waterways on foot or by car or animal and not to leave children play in those dangerous places.
