Prince Naif bin Abdulaziz, the Interior Minister, has approved the executive statute of the system of the Saudi nationality after amending a number of articles in the light of the Royal Decree issued on 29, 10, 1425. The executive statute included 25 articles pertaining to the procedures and regulations stipulated in the system of the Saudi nationality, issued on 22.2.1374, and the amendments included in the system. The executive statute was issued in line with article 27 of the system, which stipulates the issuance of the executive statute of the nationality system within 120 days from the date of publishing the amendments in 'Ummal Qura' Newspaper on 25.11.1425. Dr Ahmad Al-Salim, the Undersecretary of the Interior Ministry, said the amendments of the system of the Saudi nationality and the issuance of the executive statute come within the framework of the keenness of the Saudi Government on updating various systems of the State in a manner that serves the interests of the country and the citizens.
