The number of people who died in the collapse of a Bangladeshi garment factory rose to 73 Monday after rescuers recovered four more bodies from the debris, police said. A boiler blast last week brought the nine-storey building down on top of about 250 workers at Spectrum Garments Factory Ltd. near Savar, an industrial town 32 kilometers (20 miles) northwest of the capital, Dhaka. About 92 more workers were still missing and feared dead Monday. A total of 84 survivors were pulled from the ruins. "We are trying to recover the rest of the bodies," police Brig. Gen. Nizam Ahmed, operation coordinator, told reporters.
