Quds city, April 3 (SPA) -- Israel's envoy to Ethiopia died in hospital on Sunday of a gunshot wound sustained in an apparent suicide attempt last week, Israeli officials said. Ambassador Doron Grossman, 48, was found bleeding from a head wound in his Addis Ababa hotel room on Tuesday, his pistol by his side. He was flown to Israel in critical condition. Israeli political sources said Grossman was believed to have decided to commit suicide after discovering he had advanced cancer. His next appointment was to have been as Israel's ambassador to South Africa.
