Dr Ahmad Mohammed Ali, the President of the Islamic Development Bank (IDB), received here today Governor of Iraq's Central Bank Dr Sinan Mohammed Riza Al-Shabibi. Speaking on the occasion, Dr Al-Shabibi expressed appreciation for the support extended by the IDB to Iraq, and reiterated the keenness of Iraq on resumption of cooperation with the Bank. On his part, Dr Ali confirmed the readiness of the IDB to extend the required technical assistance to Iraq, and said the Bank has allocated $500 million for the ongoing efforts for the reconstruction of Iraq.
