Dr Ahmad Mohammed Ali, the President of the Islamic Development Bank (IDB), has announced the Bank's approval to extend $5 million to the international efforts for the reconstruction of educational facilities which were hit by a strong earthquake in Haiti last January. Earlier, UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon urged the international organizations including the IDB to contribute to the reconstruction of Haiti.
