Quds city, March 19, SPA -- The army is barring Israeli citizens from moving to four West Bank settlements slated for evacuation later this year, military officials said Saturday, following a similar ban placed on relocating to the Gaza Strip. The move is the Israeli army's latest step to counter settler resistance to the government's plan to withdraw from Gaza and parts of the West Bank. The plan, scheduled to begin in late July, would uproot roughly 9,000 Jewish settlers from their homes.
