Quds city, April 18, SPA -- Israeli Prime Minister Ariel Sharon is considering delaying plans to withdraw from the Gaza because of Jewish religious considerations, officials have said. The official in charge of the pullout, Yonatan Bassi, has asked Sharon to delay the move until mid-August. Withdrawal from Gaza and four West Bank settlements was to begin on July 20. Israel Radio said Sharon was considering the proposal so as not to boost opposition to the evacuation among Jewish settlers. --MORE 1311 Local Time 1011 GMT
