The evacuation of two out four Jewish settlements slated for removal in the West Bank was completed on Monday, Israel's army said. Reuters reported The settlements were the first of 25 to be vacated under Prime Minister Ariel Sharon's planned withdrawals. "Ganim and Kadim settlements are both completely empty as of today," an army spokeswoman said. Four out of 120 settlements in the West Bank are due to be removed under Sharon's plan for "disengagement" from conflict with the Palestinians along with all 21 in the Gaza Strip. -
