Prime Minister Manmohan Singh will travel to Indian-controlled Kashmir next month to inaugurate a historic bus service to the Pakistani portion of the Himalayan territory _ one of the biggest confidence-boosting measures between the two countries, a news report said Saturday. The bus service, which is being resumed after almost six decades, is part of efforts by India and Pakistan to end more than 50 years of bitter relations. Singh will see off the bus service's first passengers on the 170-kilometer (105- mile) journey during a daylong tour to Kashmir on April 7, Press Trust of India reported.
