The Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah and Guidance, represented by the religious attaché of the Saudi Embassy to the Republic of Senegal, continues to implement the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Iftar Program, which provides meals to fasting people, by distributing more than 5,000 meals to residents of the village of Ghat in Bambey Governorate, located 180 km from the Senegalese capital, Dakar. The iftar event was held in the courtyard of the grand mosque in the village and was attended by no less than 5,000 fasting men and women of all ages, including students, widows, and members of the teaching staff in the village schools.
