The Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Call and Guidance, represented by the religious attaché at the Saudi embassy in Senegal, today inaugurated the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques' programs for iftar and distributing dates for the 1443 Hijri year at the religious attaché's headquarters in Dakar in the presence of Saudi Ambassador to Senegal Saad bin Abdullah Al-Nafiei. Al-Nafiei delivered a speech on the occasion, during which he noted that the programs are implemented during Ramadan through distributing food baskets, iftar meals and dates, which represent a gift from Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and His Royal Highness the Crown Prince, for people in Senegal. The religious attaché will continue to implement these programs in cooperation with the Senegalese government and charity association in several cities and regions of Senegal, targeting around 120,000 beneficiaries of underprivileged families. The Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Call and Guidance is implementing the program in 94 countries around the world during this year's Ramadan, as the program is an extension of the leadership's interest in Muslims, meeting their needs, enhancing bonds and brotherhood relations in the holy month.
