The Secretary General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), Jassim Mohammed Al-Budaiwi, met today at the headquarters of the GCC Secretariat General with the Ambassador of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Dan XuanDung. During the meeting, Al-Budaiwi stressed the importance of strengthening GCC-Vietnamese relations and ways to develop cooperation in all fields in a way that contributes to serving common interests. They also discussed the latest developments in the regional and international arenas and issues of common interest. Al-Budaiwi also met at the headquarters of the GCC Secretary General today with the Ambassador of the Republic of Venezuela to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, David Velasquez Caraballo. During the meeting, they reviewed the relations between the GCC and Venezuela, in addition to discussing the latest developments in the regional and international arenas and issues of common concern. Assistant Secretary for Political Affairs and Negotiations at the GCC General Secretariat, Dr. Abdulaziz Al-uwaishek, attended the two meetings.
