Secretary General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Dr. Nayef Falah M. Al Hajraf stressed the keenness of the GCC countries to enhance aspects of cooperation and friendship with the People's Republic of China in all fields, in a manner that serves common interests. This came during the Secretary General's meeting with Ambassador of the People's Republic of China to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Chen Weiqing yesterday at the headquarters of the General Secretariat in Riyadh. During the meeting, the officials discussed topics of common interest, most notably a review of the latest developments of free trade negotiations between the two sides and mutual interest in strengthening and developing trade and economic relations, as well as the means to enhance the investment of bilateral opportunities in common areas, in addition to discussing the latest developments on the regional and international arenas.
