Prime Minister of the Republic of Guinea, Dr. Bernard Gomou, has underlined the deeply-rooted Conakry-Riyadh relations, commending the support of the government of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques to Muslims all over the world and to the Guinean Muslims in particular. The prime minister's remarks came following a ceremony he attended on behalf of the Guinean president to honor participants in the 41st edition of the Memorization, Interpretation, and Intonation of the Holy Quran Competition, which was organized by the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Call and Guidance in cooperation with Guinea's General Secretariat for Religious Affairs. Gomou voiced his gratitude to the Kingdom's leadership and to the Ministry of Islamic Affairs for their support to the completion, which, he said, has seen a large turnout, proving a big success and revealing a desire to have it always on.
