Ministry of Islamic Affairs Inaugurates Custodian of Two Holy Mosques' Programmes for Distributing Copies of the Holy Quran, Dates, and Iftar in Several Countries
The Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah and Guidance has inaugurated the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques' Programmes for Distributing Copies of the Holy Quran, Dates, and Iftar in Guinea, Conakry, in the presence of Saudi Ambassador to Guinea and Sierra Leone Dr. Fahad Al-Rashidi. During the inauguration ceremony, Al-Rashidi stressed that the annual programmes for distributing copies of the Holy Quran, dates, and Iftar reflect the keenness of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and HRH the Crown Prince to meet the needs of Muslims around the world, pointing out that the Kingdom is a pioneer in the field of charitable and humanitarian work. The ministry, represented by the Religious Attaché at the Kingdom's Embassy in Bosnia and Herzegovina, yesterday delivered the gift of dates, entailed in the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques programme, to the Republic of Serbia. The ministry represented by the Religious Attaché at the Kingdom's embassy in Nigeria, also inaugurated the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Programme for Iftar in the Republic of Benin; more than 1,000 people attended the Iftar.
