Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Call and Guidance inaugurated today at the Kingdom's Embassy in Bosnia and Herzegovina the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques' gift program for distributing dates and Iftar for those fasting in Ramadan for the year 1444 AH. The inauguration was held at the King Fahd Cultural Center, in the presence of the grand Mufti of Bosnia and Herzegovina and head of the Islamic Sheikhdom, Dr. Husein Kavazovic, the Kingdom's Ambassador to Bosnia Osama bin Dakhil Al-Ahmadi, and the religious attaché at the Saudi Embassy Amer Al-Onzi. The two programs included providing Iftar (breaking the fast) for fasting people, with the goal of meals for 20,000 people, and distributing 10 tons of dates to charities and Islamic centers in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Dr. Husein Kavazovic appreciated the efforts and continuous support of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and HRH the Crown Prince to Bosnia and Herzegovina and its people, who will not forget what Saudi Arabia and its leadership have provided them throughout history. He said the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and the Crown Prince have a special interest in the Islamic religion and Muslims around the world, including this valuable annual gift. The Ministry of Islamic Affairs is implementing the program in 60 countries around the world during Ramadan this year, which comes as an extension of the Saudi leadership's interest in Muslims, meeting their needs, and deepening the ties and bonds with them in the month of goodness and giving.
