The Transport General Authority (TGA) has announced a mechanism for booking electronic appointments for truck entry to Riyadh city and Jeddah governorate during the banned hours throughout the blessed month of Ramadan. The mechanism, which was determined according to the ban times announced by the TGA during Ramadan, allows trucks licensed for working in cargo transport to book appointments through the "City Entry" service of the electronic portal of cargo transportation (naql.sa) to enter cities with specific routes to facilitate their movement during the banned times. TGA also indicated that the "City Entry" service would contribute to preventing the traffic jam of trucks at the main entrances to cities, regulating and managing truck flow, and raising the efficiency and quality of digital services in the logistics sector. TGA added that carriers could benefit from the "Entrance of Trucks into Cities" service on the electronic Naql portal's (City Entry) service through the link: (bce.naql.sa), which provides several electronic services that support and enable carriers to carry out cargo activities quickly and conveniently.
