The Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Call, and Guidance, represented by the religious attaché at the Saudi Embassy in Dakar, Senegal, inaugurated the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques' iftar program 1444AH. The program was inaugurated in the presence of the Saudi Ambassador to Senegal, Saad bin Abdullah Al-Nufaie, the official of religious affairs at the embassy, Mohamed Taffaf Al-Zahrani, and several Senegalese government officials, religious, political, and media personalities. The person in charge of the religious attaché at the embassy, Sheikh Waheed Mohamed Al-Majribi, stated that these programs embody the Kingdom's noble message in serving Islam and Muslims worldwide, especially during the blessed month of Ramadan, based on its leadership in the Islamic world and its responsibilities towards Islamic peoples and communities. Al-Majribi highlighted the wise Saudi leadership's keenness in addressing the needs of Muslims and helping them perform the worship of fasting. Al-Majribi also noted that the Iftar program is one of several programs directed by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, to be launched yearly during the month of Ramadan, in several countries worldwide, including Senegal. He also commended the efforts of the Ministry of Islamic Affairs in implementing these programs and achieving its objectives.
