Egyptian and Palestinian leaders plan to convene summit talks in Egypt on Thursday, a Palestinian cabinet minister said on Wednesday. Deputy Palestinian Prime Minister Nabil Shaath said that Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak and Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas would discuss the results of a conference about the Middle East held by world leaders in London this week. Shaath said the two would meet in Egypt "to discuss the latest developments, support the peace process and the results of the London conference" held on March 1. Egyptian officials said the summit would take place in the southern Sinai resort town of Sharm el-Sheikh.
