Visiting Jordanian Foreign Minister Hani Mulki said Saturday he will raise Palestinian complaints about slow progress in the Middle East conflict with Israeli leaders in meetings over the weekend. After a short meeting with Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas Mulki told journalists in Ramallah that he had been briefed by the Palestinians on events since last month's summit in Egypt which was attended by Jordan, Egypt, Israel and the Palestinian Authority. Palestinian Deputy Prime Minister Nabil Shaath told reporters Mulki's visit in Ramallah had been aimed at establishing what Jordan can do to keep the momentum following the Sharm el-Sheikh summit going. "He asked us what has been achieved since the Sharm summit," said Shaath. "We told him that nothing has been done except the calm and we stressed that the calm was intended to get the occupied land back and it was not an end in itself."
