Quseibi highlighted the existing friendly relations between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Germany. He pointed out that the value of German exports to the Kingdom amounted in 2003 to about SR 12.4 billion, while the imports of Germany from the Kingdom amounted to SR 1.7 billion in the same year. On his part, Schroeder highlighted the existing friendly relations between the Kingdom and Germany, and said the Kingdom is one of the most influential countries in the Middle East in all spheres. He confirmed the keenness of Germany on implementing gigantic projects in he Kingdom. Meanwhile, Schroeder attended a ceremony of signing three economic agreements between a number of Saudi and German companies with investments that exceed SR 6 billion in spheres of industry, telecommunications, technology, health, petrochemicals and transport.
