Saudi Ambassador to Yemen and Supervisor General of the Saudi Program for Development and Reconstruction of Yemen (SPDRY) Mohammed bin Saeed Al Jaber met today with a number of international organizations' delegations on the sidelines of the 3rd Riyadh International Humanitarian Forum. Al Jaber met with Jens Wandel, Executive Director of the United Nations Office for Project Services, and Achim Steiner, United Nations Development Program Administrator. The meeting discussed the development projects the Kingdom implemented in Yemen through the SPDRY, aiming at improving the living conditions of the Yemeni people and responding to their emergency needs. Al Jaber's meeting with the UN officials also went over the Kingdom's decades-long support to brotherly Yemeni people in addition to the SPDRY's programs and initiatives in the seven major sectors of education, health, water, energy, transport, agriculture, and fishery, capacity-building for government institutions and the development projects that have contributed to enhancing the Yemeni economy, creating job opportunities and improving the living conditions of the Yemeni people.
