Supervisor General of the Saudi Program for Development and Reconstruction of Yemen (SPDRY) Ambassador Mohammed bin Saeed Al Jaber met here today with the Director General of the Islamic World Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (ICESCO) Dr. Salem bin Mohammad Al-Malik. During the meeting, the two sides discussed ways and aspects of cooperation between to support the efforts of the Yemeni government and its institutions in development and reconstruction projects, in a way that serves the Yemeni people, and achieves the desired and sustainable impact of development projects and programs in Yemen. Dr. Al-Malik appreciated the Saudi efforts through the SPDRY, in education, culture, and various vital sectors that contribute to improving the lives of the Yemeni people and support building capacities and Yemeni cadres in various fields. The two sides also discussed SPDRY's 224 projects and initiatives aimed at serving the Yemeni brothers in 7 basic sectors, including education, health, water, energy, transportation, agriculture and fisheries, and capacity building of government institutions in addition to development programs.
