In partnership with Tuwaiq Technologies Academy, Meta announced the launch of the specialized Metaverse Academy, the first of its kind in the advanced Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region, with the support of Simplon, the leading French social enterprise providing comprehensive training services on digital skills. The Metaverse Academy adopts an approach based on three main tracks: discovery, skill-up and training. Metaverse aims to attract a thousand trainees to the Metaverse Academy in the experimental phase during the first 18 months. "The Middle East and North Africa region has the necessary capabilities and resources to play a pivotal role in developing the Metaverse system and benefiting from the value that this system will add to the region's economy," said the Vice President of Public Policy at Meta for Africa, the Middle East and Turkiye, Kojo Boakye.
