Trend Micro to launch its MENA HQ in Riyadh It is first global cybersecurity company to launch its Middle East and North Africa headquarters in Saudi Arabia

Trend Micro Incorporated, a global cybersecurity leader, Tuesday announced the launch of its Middle East and North Africa (MENA) headquarters (HQ) in Riyadh. This makes the organization the first global cyber security company to launch its regional headquarters in Saudi Arabia.
A strategic footstep of this nature showcases the company's commitment and its alignment with the Kingdom's Vision 2030 in efforts towards building and empowering human capabilities in cooperation with the Saudi Federation for Cybersecurity, Programming and Drones (SAFCSP).
To pursue its aspirations for a more digitally safe, and secure Saudi Arabia, Trend Micro will also set up a "Center of Innovation and Learning" at its HQ in Riyadh.
This will comprise of an executive briefing center hosting executives from both public and private sectors across the country to showcase firsthand cutting-edge innovations and solutions in the field of cybersecurity.
The HQ will also facilitate a learning center, that will provide skilling opportunities for graduates and professionals to accelerate their professionals' journeys in cyber security and information security.
Tuwaiq Academy under the Federation umbrella, will also collaborate with Trend Micro to launch the Cyber Security Academy program in Saudi Arabia. This program aims to provide training in Cloud, Endpoint and XDR security to reach over 3,000 trainees around the Kingdom.
"The launch of our HQ in Riyadh speaks directly to our continued commitment to invest in the Kingdom and contribute to the Saudi Vision 2030," said Dr. Moataz Bin Ali, VP and managing director, Trend Micro Middle East and North Africa.

Saudi Arabia aims to attract foreign companies from across the world to establish regional headquarters in Riyadh. The effort is expected to create up to 40,000 jobs for Saudis and raise capital up to SR70 billion over the next ten years. — SG
