Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Saud Alfaisal and his British counterpart opened here today the Saudi-British Forum Conference 'Two Kingdoms: Future Challenges'. Prince Saud delivered a speech at the opening of the one-day forum. In the speech, he stressed the importance of relations between the two countries. Prince Saud called on the United Kingdom and the rest of the West to deal with conflicts in the Middle East region seriously and with complete neutrality. Concerning cooperation in political reforms and international terrorism, he called for agreement on a more profound definition of terms and for using them away from their absolute meanings. Prince Saud said that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia believes in the necessity of the political reform, but it should be gradual and meet the needs of our people. To achieve this purpose, the Kingdom issued the governing statute, started the national dialogue and increased the number of the Shoura Council which joined the International Parliamentary Union. --More 2035 Local Time 1735 GMT
