Prince Saud Alfaisal, the Foreign Minister, said Saudi Arabia has been the country that suffered most damage from terrorism. In a joint press conference with his British counterpart Jack Straw, Prince Saud answered a question on oil saying Saudi Arabia will continue to play a moderating role in international oil markets for stability of oil supplies and prices and preservation of the interests of both producers and consumers. Prince Saud said that Saudi Arabia believes in the necessity of political reform but it should be gradual and natural, take into consideration the aspirations of the Saudi people and preserve their traditions, habits, values and religious convictions. On another subject, Prince Saud said Saudi women are playing an increased role in the society. He stressed that they will participate in the political life including elections adding that women will begin to take prominent positions in the foreign ministry. --MORE 2104 Local Time 1804 GMT
