The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah has announced that registration for pilgrims inside the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is now open through the ministry's website and the "Nusuk application", for those wishing to perform Hajj for the current year 1444 AH, as part of the Ministry's continuous efforts to facilitate the application procedures for performing the rituals of Hajj, to enhance the quality of services, and enrich the religious and cultural experience of the pilgrims, to achieve the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030 programs. The Ministry, in a press statement today, said that Hajj packages for citizens and residents from inside the Kingdom include four categories at reasonable prices, including the economic package that starts from SR3984 riyals, in addition to providing different payment options either by paying the total amount or by paying in three installments. Applicants must ensure they have a valid "national identity" for citizens or a "resident identity" for residents, valid until the end of Dhul-Hijjah 1444 AH, for those wishing to perform Hajj. In addition, the ministry said that the minimum age for the electronic application had been set to 12 years with a priority for people who have not performed Hajj before and in case of the availability of vacant places, those who have previously performed Hajj will be included, adding that women's Mahram will be excluded from the priority advantage. All applicants are also required to complete immunization with coronavirus (Covid-19) and "seasonal influenza" vaccines, in addition to obtaining a valid vaccination certificate proving receipt of the "ACYW quadruple meningitis" vaccine, at least 10 days before arriving at the holy sites for Hajj. Those wishing to perform Hajj from inside the Kingdom can register via the Ministry's website at the link: https://localhaj.haj.gov.sa or through the "nusuk.sa" application, review all Hajj package options, choose the appropriate package, and complete electronic payment operations through convenient electronic procedures available around the clock. The Ministry stressed that contracting and providing Hajj-related services are implemented through companies and institutions licensed by the Ministry to serve pilgrims from within the Kingdom and listed on the Ministry's website, adding that registration for Hajj must be done by the pilgrim himself, urging all applicants to avoid dealing with campaigns, agents or companies that are not licensed by the Ministry. The ministry stressed the need to review the services included in the packages upon booking to ensure their suitability before completing the reservation, to ensure the accuracy of information when registering and choosing packages, and not to use the same mobile number in more than one application, adding that inquiries and suggestions can be sent to the Ministry via e-mail ([email protected]), or the unified number 920002814, or on the ministry's Twitter account (@MOHU_Care) around the clock.
