Insurgents detonated a bomb Thursday as a convoy of U.S. troops and Iraqi National Guardsmen traveled on a northern road, wounding seven Iraqi troops, an Iraqi commander said. The attack occurred in Hawija, on the main road running north to Kirkuk, said Maj. Gen. Anwar Mohammad Amin. No Americans were wounded in the attack, he said.
