Speaker of the Shura Council Sheikh Dr. Abdullah bin Muhammad bin Ibrahim Al Al-Sheikh, today at the council's headquarters in Riyadh, received Turkish Ambassador to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Fatih Ulusoy. Dr. Al Al-Sheikh stressed the importance of enhancing bilateral relations between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Republic of Türkiye to contribute to activating cooperation in various fields, mainly at the parliamentary level between the Shura Council and the Grand National Assembly of Turkiye, reiterating the need to activating continuous communication between the two legislatures and the significance of working to activate the role of the two parliamentary friendship committees between them. For his part, Ulusoy praised the mutual recent visits made by the two countries' leaderships, noting that the relations between the two countries are considered brotherly ties and that cooperation reflects positively on the region and the Islamic nation, stressing the importance of increasing communication between the two countries' officials in various fields, mainly parliamentary communication between the two councils. Talks during the meeting reviewed aspects of bilateral relations between Riyadh and Ankara and went over means to further enhance and boost them, in addition to addressing several issues of mutual interests to both countries. Dr. Al Al-Sheikh also received an official invitation from Speaker of the Grand National Assembly of Turkiye Mustafa Şentop to visit the Republic of Türkiye.
