Presided over by its Deputy Speaker Dr. Mishaal bin Fahm Al-Salami, the Shura Council held virtually today its 51st ordinary session. During the meeting, the Shura Council discussed a number of reports presented by the Trade and Investment Committee; the Hajj, Housing and Services Committee; the Security and Military Affairs Committee; and the Culture, Sports and Tourism Committee. The Shura Council approved a draft memorandum of understanding between the Saudi Space Commission and the Italian Space Agency for cooperation in the field of space activities for peaceful purposes. It also approved a draft agreement between the government of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the government of the Cooperative Republic of Guyana in the field of air transport services, signed in Riyadh on 09/05/2022. The Shura Council approved a draft memorandum of understanding in the field of the renewable energy, energy efficiency and rationalization of its consumption between the government of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the government of the Republic of Tunisia, signed in Riyadh on 12/01/2022. The Shura Council also discussed a number of issues on its agenda.
