Presided over by its Speaker Sheikh Dr. Abdullah bin Mohammed bin Ibrahim Al Al-Sheikh, the Shura Council held, virtually, today its 36th ordinary session. During the meeting, the Shura Council discussed a number of reports presented by the Hajj, Housing and Services Committee, the Culture, Information, Tourism and Antiquities Committee, the Islamic and Judicial Affairs Committee, the Economy and Energy Committee, the Financial Committee and the Water, Agriculture and Environment Committee. It also approved a draft memorandum of understanding for cooperation in the field of fisheries between the government of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the government of the Republic of Mauritius which was signed in Riyadh on 7/4/2021. The Shura Council also discussed several issues on its agenda.
