King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Centre (KSrelief) continues offering health services to eye patients in Yemen as part of the "Noor Saudi" Program that is implemented in Aden and Hadramout governorates. Since the launch of the second phase of the free eye surgeries program in early August, 1,200 people benefited from free eye surgeries, 1,201 benefited from lenses and 4,800 patients received medicines. The "Noor Saudi" Program seeks to conduct 6,000 specialized surgeries for eyes this year, which will be conducted as part of successive projects with the aim of covering the biggest number of patients who need eye surgeries. Each project includes conducting 400 surgeries, in addition to offering necessary medicines and eyeglasses. The program is part of KSrelief's efforts to combat blindness and causing diseases and alleviate the suffering of patients who cannot afford the costs of treatment in afflicted countries.
