King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) concluded yesterday the implementation of the voluntary medical campaign to combat blindness and the diseases that cause it in Mukalla, Yemen, which was held from 10 to 25 May, 2022. During the campaign, the KSrelief's voluntary medical team checked 2,191 individuals, provided 400 eyeglasses, dispensed medicines to 1,200 patients, and performed 400 surgeries to remove cataracts, benefiting families with low incomes. The project comes as an extension of the relief and humanitarian efforts provided by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, represented by the KSrelief, to the Yemenis to alleviate their suffering.
