King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) concluded yesterday a voluntary medical campaign to combat blindness and diseases that cause it in Aden Governorate for the year 2021. During the campaign, the KSrelief's medical team conducted 400 specialized eye surgeries and detected 1,472 cases, in addition to distributing 400 eyeglasses, 400 lenses, 800 eye drops and dispensing 800 types of medicines, benefitting the low incomes families. It is noteworthy that the campaign comes as an extension of the projects related to combating blindness, implemented by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, represented by the KSrelief, for Yemeni people, as it amounts to six projects aimed at performing more than 2,400 surgeries.
