The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's Candidate Dr. Hussam bin Abdulmohsen Al-Anqari won membership in the Board of Directors of the International Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA), the Institute announced yesterday, becoming the first Arab to join the Institute's Board of Directors, which is the professional reference for all internal audit organizations and associations around the world. President of the General Court of Audit, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Saudi Association of Internal Auditors, and Member of the Board of Directors of the International Institute of Internal Auditors, Dr. Hossam bin Abdulmohsen Al-Anqari, extended his appreciation to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and HRH Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense for their support for the regulatory system in the Kingdom and for the internal auditing sector, stressing that this achievement would not have been realized without the generous support and care that the association enjoys from the Kingdom's leadership. Dr. Al-Anqari expressed his happiness to join the Board of Directors of the International Institute of Internal Auditors, adding that the Kingdom's nomination for membership in the International Institute is a confirmation of its pioneering and active role of the Kingdom represented by the Saudi Association of Internal Auditors in supporting the Internal audit professions and contribution to its development. The institute's announcement included 16 members from 9 countries representing the elite professionals in the field of internal auditing, including the USA, Australia, Spain, Japan, the United Kingdom, China, France, and Peru.
