The activities of the 8th annual internal audit conference will start here tomorrow, Tuesday, under the slogan "The Future of Internal Audit", organized by Saudi Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA–KSA), under the patronage of President of General Auditing Bureau, Chairman of the Board of Directors of IIA, Dr. Hussam Al-Anqari. The two-day conference aims to review the developments of the internal audit profession and the control system globally, chart the future of internal audit profession according to its global changes and developments, as well as enhance the characteristics of flexible leadership for the internal audit profession in accordance with the Kingdom's Vision 2030. The conference will host 30 local and global leaders and experts specialized in internal auditing and control system, in addition to a number of representatives of international organizations and companies, led by President and CEO of the International Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA), Anthony Pugliese. The conference will include 6 dialogue sessions, 3 presentations and 4 specialized workshops, discussing the new trends of internal auditors, risk tools in leading control system in enterprises, as well as role of governance in crisis management and business continuity, and growing demand for internal auditing in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
