The National Center of Meteorology (NCM) has issued its daily forecast report for the weather in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The report said that the sky will be partly cloudy, accompanied by thunderstorms on Jazan, Asir and Baha regions, extending to Makkah heights, as the chance of forming the thunderstorms will continue on Najran region and southern parts of Eastern Region (the Empty Quarter), accompanied by active winds, while the dust winds will continue to be active on some parts of Eastern and Riyadh regions and the coastal road, extending from Al Laith region to Jazan region will witness active surface dusty winds. The report showed that the surface wind movement in the Red Sea will be northwesterly to westerly at speed of 20-40 km/h on northern and central parts and southwesterly to westerly, gradually turning northwesterly at speed of 20-40 km/h on southern part, while the surface wind movement in the Arabian Gulf will be northwesterly to westerly, gradually turning northeasterly at speed 15-30 on southern part and southerly to southeasterly on southern part at speed of 16-32 km/h.
