The General Authority of Meteorology and Environment Protection foretasted the weather for today as thunderstorms accompanied by active winds on the heights of Jazan, Asir, Baha, Makkah and Madinah, while thunderstorms accompanied by active surface dusty winds on some parts of the Jazan region. In its report, the Authority stated that the surface wind movement in the Red Sea is northwesterly to westerly on northern parts and southerly to southwesterly on southern and central parts at speed of 16-38 km/h, while the surface wind movement in the Arabian Gulf is southeasterly to northeasterly at a speed 16-36 km/h.
