Pilgrim crowds who moved early this morning from nearby Mina valley where they stayed last night, has each took his/her place in Arafat Valley, peacefully and successfully, their ritual climax as per the tradition of Prophet Mohammed (peace and blessing be upon him.) From the site, SPA reporters and photographers followed the smooth traffic transfer from Mina to Arafat, thanks to efforts exerted by government agencies upon instructions and direct follow-up of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and HRH the Crown Prince. Pilgrims are scheduled to stay in Arafat until sunset today, Friday, before moving backwards towards Muzdalefa valley to perform Maghrib (sunset) and shortened Isha (evening) prayers together, stay the night, collect pebbles and move to Mina again for a two-to-three days of stay.
