Saudi Arabia Hosts "Course for Writing National Reports to Implement International Convention on Rights of Persons with Disabilities"

A course on preparing national reports to implement the Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities, which was hosted by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, represented by Authority for the Care of People with Disabilities (APD), concluded yesterday. The event was held in cooperation with the Arab League and the participation of the office of the UN Resident Coordinator in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Western Asia (ESCWA).
APD CEO Dr. Hisham Al-Haidari said that the course reviewed local and international experiences that contribute to increasing the quality of national reports on implementing Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities at the UN.
