MUKALLA, Yemen — A medical team of the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) performed 248 cataract surgeries on the second day of its voluntary medical campaign to combat blindness in Mukalla in Yemen's Hadhramaut governorate on Tuesday. The medical team also distributed 257 glasses and examined 1,061 patients, benefiting low-income families. The anti-blindness campaign, which is being carried out by KSrelief on behalf of Saudi Arabia represented by the center, aims to treat people with eye diseases and provide them with the necessary medical care in a number of needy countries.
